Gary Allanson’s Bridlington Town will play Westella in the East Riding Senior Cup semi-finals

Bridlington Town and Hull United learnt their fate for the semi-final of the East Riding Senior Cup yesterday.

The Seasiders will play Central Midlands League side Westella VIP, and will be looking to add to their 15 wins in the competition already.

Meanwhile, the other semi-final draw sees the first City/United derby in Hull as Hull United drew Hull City U21.

The Tigers U21 side saw off United’s groundsharers Hall Road Rangers 5-0 in the quarter finals.

Hull United and Hull City have never won the competition, with the former a new side in the competition, while the latter opted out for many years.

Both semi-final’s will be played at the East Riding County FA’s home at Inglemire Lane, on either March 24th or March 26th.
