Danny Frost has turned down the advances of other clubs and will sign a contract with Ossett Town.
Ossett talisman Frost was publicly chased by Scarborough Athletic earlier this week.
Grant Black told Non League Yorkshire: “I’m absolutely delighted with Frosty’s loyalty.
“A few weeks ago a club came in for him and we managed to fend them off.
“This week Scarborough came in and I’m not happy that their manager (Steve Kittrick) chose to announce his transfer targets to the press.
“I’ve spoke to him and told him how I feel.
“Fortunately Frosty has turned down a very substantial offer to stay with us.
“To put the matter to bed and to let Frosty concentrate on his football, we’ve offered him a contract and we’re delighted he has accepted it.”
