Derry Robson and David Taylor have made three old boys their first signings as joint managers of Goole AFC.

French goalkeeper Thomas Beaurepaire returns to the Victoria Pleasure Grounds after a nearly year away at Ossett Town and then Hyde United.

Hemsworth fans do not need to worry as Goole have signed the other Billy Law. His namesake is also a striker and he makes a comeback after injury-hit spell.

The final capture is defender Sam Liversidge, who previously turned out for Goole in the 2012/13 season. One of his most recent clubs is Worksop Town.

Robson and Taylor, who are in their early twenties and are believed to be two of the youngest ever managers in semi-professional football, take charge for the first time when Goole host Colwyn Bay tomorrow.

Ironically their predecessor Dave Anderson’s first game as Goole boss was also against Bay.
