Grant Black’s Ossett Town maintained their perfect away record with a 3-0 at Goole AFC.

Talismanic captain Alex Peterson set them on their with an unbelievable lob from the halfway line in the sixth minute.

Young starlet Kai Hancock doubled that lead soon after reacting to Martin Pembleton’s strike hitting the crossbar.

Peterson sealed the win in the second half.

Michael Coulson got a hat-trick as Scarborough Athletic won 5-2 at Ossett Albion. Emile Sinclair and Luke Dean were also on the score-sheet. Nathan Curtis and Kieran Scargill scored for Albion.

Tadcaster Albion’s clash at Mossley finished goal-less.

Brighouse Town lost 2-3 at home to Droylsden on Monday night.

In the Premier Division, Shaw Lane won 3-0 at Whitby Town – Nicky Walker (2), Paul Clayton scored.

James Walshaw, Ben Atkinson and Paul Walker guided Farsley Celtic to a 3-0 win over Grantham Town at Throstle Nest.

  1. Think people getting g carried away with the ‘halfway line’ haha it was a fantastic strike no doubt but was max 35 yards out was midway between byline and half way still goal of the season contender so far
