The 1994/95 Bradford (Park Avenue) at the start of that season
Bradford (Park Avenue) are now wanting to reunite the 1995 North West Counties League Premier Division title-winning side for their Sportsman Dinner in April.
Gordon Rayner’s side memorably won the title with a game to spare having looked dead-and-buried at one stage. Rayner engineered a run of 13 victories out of 13 in their final run of games to secure promotion to the NPL.
Mark Price, a key player in that team, is contacting his old team-mates.
Wayne Benn is getting in touch with the 2001 NPL Division One title-winning squad.
The dinner is taking place the Midland hotel on Friday 20 April with Eddie Gray as the guest speaker.
Avenue are hopeful of getting a few tables of ex-players to attend with a table of players from the 1960/70’s and since the club reformed in 1988.
