Rob Oldham is back at Worsbrough

Quality left-sided player Rob Oldham is back ‘home’ at Worsbrough Bridge after leaving Glasshoughton Welfare.

Oldham returns to Park Road a year after departing for Castleford. Oldham, a former Pontefract Collieries player, has been a target for Worsbrough for some weeks, but Lee Morris was unable to make a move for him as they signed Connor Rollinson from Welfare at the beginning of September.

Morris told Non League Yorkshire: “I’m over the moon that Rob is back and I’m looking forward to working with him as he’s a massive player and another signing that makes us even stronger. He’s got one of best left foots in the business and I’m thrilled to have him on board.

“We have also signed Nicky Harper forward. He was at Sheffield Wednesday as a young one and has been on my radar for a while and one I’m chuffed to get in and he gives us another dimension to our attack. He scores all kind of goals and look forward to seeing him in a Worsbrough shirt.”

Both Oldham and Harper are available for the clash with Grimsby Borough tomorrow.
