Non League Yorkshire

Who will win the NCEL Premier and Division One titles?

The Toolstation Northern Counties East League

Choosing who will finish in the top ten of each Division has been hard enough so picking the actual winners is difficult.

With more promotion places available in both Divisions, a vast number of teams have shelled out on top signings – making it harder for us so-called pundits to call.

We’ve sure they will be a lot of people who may disagree, but here’s our choices.

Premier Division

Yorkshire Amateur

For Non League Yorkshire, it is a toss-up between the Ammers and Hemsworth Miners Welfare. The quality of three particular signings has made us choose the Ammers. Niall Heaton played for Guiseley last season, while Aiden Savory and Ross Daly are still class acts in the NPL.

Division One

Skegness Town

Few teams will pick up points at Skegness Town this season. It is a very long way to go for everyone for starters. Skegness have also made several top signings, with many coming from the leagues above. They also have a very underrated manager in Nathan Collins at the helm. Collins’ record as a Division One boss makes him one of the best around.
