Assistant boss Louis Axcell is the manager of Maltby Main for the rest of the season after the club parted company with Scott Mason.
Mason’s two-year reign came to an end following the 3-0 defeat to Bottesford Town on Saturday in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division.
He will be best remembered for guiding Maltby to their highest ever league finish for over 20 years during the 2017/18 season.
Axcell is the former Handsworth reserve team boss who joined Maltby over a year ago.
