Horbury jumps off treatment table to return ‘home’

Glasshoughton Welfare striker Andy Horbury

Andy Horbury has been given the all-clear to return to action and he will be back playing at his spiritual home Glasshoughton Welfare.

The striker cheered his team from the terraces during the Toolstation NCEL Division One victory over Harrogate Railway after sealing his returning to Glasshoughton Welfare.

Horbury, who has injury-hit spells with Nostell Miners Welfare and Albion Sports, made his name playing for Darren Holmes and Lee Vigars.

He comes into a buoyant Welfare side looking to gate-crash the top echelons of the Division after a superb run of form.
