Selby Town have waved a fond farewell to magic man Joe Dale who has joined Toolstation NCEL Division One promotion rivals North Ferriby.
The move is logical as Ferriby is closer to Dale’s East Yorkshire base.
It brings a memorable two years with Selby to an end. The magical attacker was synonymous with Selby’s success during Christian Fox’s first season in charge. At times he was unplayable.
