‘Keeper coach and several players commit to Ammers

Ste Crawford is staying with Yorkshire Amateur

Yorkshire Amateur have announced several more retentions alongside revealing their new goalkeeping coach.

More players announcements are expected this week, but so far the Ammers have confirmed three.

Luke Sharry, Ste Crawford and club stalwart Fernando Moke, who has several spells at Bracken Edge but first appeared for the Ammers during the Graham Hodder era in the late 2000s, are all returning for the club’s historic first season in the Northern Premier League.

They join a squad already containing Jon Stewart, James Beaston, Simon Ainge, Adam Priestley, Ross Duggan, Roy Fogarty and Luke Dean.

Former Bradford (Park Avenue) and Ossett Town goalkeeper Karl Lenaghan will be club’s new goalkeeping coach.

He is a very experienced coach having held the same position at clubs such as Avenue, Stockport County, FC United of Manchester, Harrogate Town and FC Halifax Town.
