Young starlets commit to Pickering

Jason Barnes has committed to play for Pickering Town again

A host of young starlets have returned to Pickering Town for the upcoming 2021/22 season.

The news further boosts Steve Roberts’ hopes of a positive first full campaign in charge of the Northern Premier League club.

Former North Ferriby and Gainsborough Trinity centre-midfielder or full-back Will Taylor is back available for Pickering.

He played 17 times during the 2019/20 season, but went to America last year so missed the short 2020/21 campaign.

Right-back Harry Ord has committed too. He was released by Sunderland last year and he signed for Pickering last September.

The final two are midfielders Jason Barnes and Adam Warrilow.

Jason Barnes joined from East Hull last year, while Warrilow arrived from Whitby Town.

They join ten other players who have pledged their futures to Pickering – Wayne Brooksby, Ben Clappison, Jack Jackson, Ged Dalton, Jordan Deacey, Jake Watson, Luke Balderson, Dylan Muggerson-Forbes, Tom Alngohuro and Ben Etherington.
