North West Counties First Division North Round-Up
Ilkley Town’s brilliant start to the campaign continued as they beat Runcorn Town 3-0.
It was an impressive victory for Sam Dexter’s men as Runcorn were relegated from the Premier Division last season.
Tom Smith opened the scoring in the fifth minute.
Nathan Hunt added the second towards the end and an own goal during injury-time put the icing on the cake.
Steeton were beaten 3-1 at Chadderton – Andy Briggs’ goal was a consolation.
