Vill Powell says he plans to add to his Brighouse Town before Saturday’s season opener against Hebburn Town.
Young midfielder Sam Drake is the first to arrive as Powell prepares to bolster his ranks.
Drake joins from Farsley Celtic on a season-long dual-registration deal.
“There’s a couple more we should hopefully over-the-line in the next 24 or 48 hours,” Powell told Non League Yorkshire.
“Sam is on a dual-registration from Farsley.
“He’s trying to break into the Farsley set-up and he’s comes as a surprise package because it wasn’t an area that I was looking to strengthen.
“He has joined the group and liked what he has seen in terms of the environment and likes how we do things.
“There’s an opportunity for him.
“With the others that you’ll hopefully see come over-the-line, they’ll strengthen us and give us that depth we didn’t have last season.
“The issue we had last season was depth and we have improved that with the signings.”
