Selby Town have signed the captain of last season’s Division One title-winners.
Rabble-rousing and tough-tackling midfielder Danny Patterson has signed for Christian Fox’s side following his departure from Hallam last week.
Selby have themselves an experienced player who has won multiple promotions and captained Worksop Town and Hallam to both NCEL titles.
He arrives at Selby ahead of their clash with local rivals Glasshoughton Welfare.
If he’s available he’s bound to be looking forward to meeting old acquaintances from Welfare.
