Penistone hit Eccleshill for SIX

Toolstation NCEL Premier Division Round-Up

Penistone Church playmaker Jordan Coduri

Penistone Church romped to an incredible 6-0 beating of Eccleshill United to jump up to fifth.

The brutal victory, one of the best under Steve Lenthall, certainly counts as an astonishing result given Eccleshill’s positive start.

Jordan Coduri (2), Kieran Ryan, Eddie Newsome, Nathan Keightley and Brett Lovell netted.

Handsworth striker Mitch Dunne

Almost 400 people watched Handsworth dramatically beat Hallam at Olivers Mount.

The scores were tied at 1-1 after Steve Woolley had equalised for Hallam after their ex-player Mitch Dunne had fired the Ambers ahead.

Anthony Mackie and Jimmy Eyles secured the points for Handsworth.

Maltby Main hero James Stafford

James Stafford struck the last minute winner as improving Maltby Main won 2-1 against Albion Sports who played with ten men for most of the fixture.

Albion thought they had claimed a superb point after Tabish Hussain had cancelled out Alister Haydock’s opener.

Hemsworth Miners Welfare double goal-scorer Jay Davis

Hemsworth Miners Welfare were 3-0 winners at Yorkshire Amateur.

Jay Davis (2) and Andy Horbury netted.
