Tadcaster Albion boss Billy Miller intends to rotate his team for the West Riding County Cup tie at Goole

There will be the odd change to Tadcaster Albion’s starting line-up in the West Riding County Cup first round tie at Goole tonight.

Billy Miller has confirmed that he will alter his side that stormed to a 4-1 victory over Pickering Town on Friday.

He said: “The County Cup will give us a great opportunity to rotate it a little bit.

“We have a couple of young lads who have been around it and we want to have a look at them.

“The County Cup is one of them where the first couple of rounds can be a hinderance on the league.

“Then if you get through to the quarter-finals and semi-finals, it does get a bit different.

“You have to go and give a good account of yourselves and for the fans they want us to win the game.

“We give a good account of ourselves and the rotation will come from the 16 or 17 players we have got.

“The lads who were on the bench on Friday night will probably start. That’s Nick Black, George Conway, Carl Stewart and Liam Ormsby.

“It is probably too early for Nick Thompson.”
