Three of Stocksbridge Park Steels’ key players have committed themselves to another season at Bracken Moor by signing contracts.

Joe Lumsden, Harrison Biggins and goalkeeper David Reay are the first cogs of Chris Hilton’s side that will aim to claim a play-offs place.

Striker Lumsden was a hit straightaway after making the step-up from Armthorpe Welfare, while midfielder Biggins, son of former Celtic striker and ex-Steels manager Wayne, matured even further. Reay also got better as the season wore-on.

Hilton said: “These three are the first to sign. There are more to come very soon.”
