Hallam defender Tom Roebuck
Tom Roebuck saved a point for Hallam in the pulsating 3-3 draw with Penistone Church at Sandygate on Tuesday night.
The point sent Penistone back to the summit, level with Winterton, but the match could have easily given them a two-point lead.
In-form strikers Dale Kelly and Danny Joynes had cancelled out Jake Currie’s opener for Hallam in an exciting first half. Christian Savage then equalised for the home side before Jack Moore put Church back in front.
Hallam, who are fourth, needed the intervention from centre-back Roebuck to gain a point.
Eccleshill United lost 2-0 at Ollerton Town.
