Richard Tracey has hailed his Ossett Albion captain Stef Holt, who recently surpassed 150 appearances for the club.

Holt is in his second spell at Dimple Wells having returned last summer following two seasons at Shaw Lane AFC.

“During his time with us Stef has been a model professional and he’s really popular in the dressing room,” Tracey told Non League Yorkshire.

“Whilst having the ability to play a number of positions, he has made the centre back position his own.

“His composure and reading of the the game ensures that he is always a consistently high performer for us. He also provides a calming atmosphere for the young players around him.

“I have been lucky enough to play alongside Stef and well as manage him. I think he genuinely is an exceptional player and we are delighted that he is part of the side we have. I hope to keep him for at least another 150 games.”
