Stocksbridge have release midfielder Corey Gregory
Stocksbridge Park Steels have released midfielder Corey Gregory following his red card in the 2-0 defeat to Kidsgrove Athletic on Saturday.
Gregory was dismissed late in the game after an altercation with his own team-mate Ash Burbeary, who was also sent off. Burbeary has been fined for his role in the bust-up.
Chris Hilton told Non League Yorkshire: “We sat down with Corey and we feel the best thing for him is for us to part ways.
“It is a shame because he is a good player, but it wasn’t acceptable what happened.
“We wish him all the best and we hope he finds another club as soon as possible.”
