Farsley striker James Walshaw is back from suspension

Farsley Celtic have to win at Kendal Town and hope Lancaster City drop points at Glossop North End to win the title.

Following the defeat to Ossett Town on Bank Holiday Monday. Farsley are back in second place ahead of a thrilling final situation. If Lancaster win, Farsley have to settle for the play-offs.

The Celts are boosted by the return from suspension of James Walshaw, who was involved in a similar last day scenario with Guiseley in 2010.

“We can only influence the game we are involved in, we can’t influence games anywhere else,” Neil Parsley said.

“We have been the hunter, the hunted, it has towed and throwed over the last six weeks.

“Are we disappointed we haven’t put it to bed earlier? Yes we are. Would we have took this position at the start of the season? Yes we probably would.

“All things considered, if we’re anywhere near our maximum and near our best then we should be alright in our game. But to win the league we are dependent on others.”
