Ossett Town will head to Scarborough Athletic on Tuesday night after a last minute Trafford equaliser denied them a home play-off semi-final tie.

Tyrone Gay’s goal was enough to book a home clash with Scarborough, but Lee Neville’s leveller means the Ingfielders will travel to the East Coast.

Scarborough finished third ahead of Ossett because of a three-goal superior goal difference.

A noisy and busy Ingfield saw defender Gay place Ossett in front from close range with a low drive from a cross.

Unfortunately it was the not the winner as Neville headed home a Trafford corner in the final minute.

Although home advantage would have been nice, reaching the play-offs is a magnificent achievement by Ossett and underlines the wonderful job Grant Black has done.

The Team

Ossett Town: Overton, Hawksworth, Jackson, Yates, Gay (captain), Assenso, Pembleton, Ridley, Peterson (captain), Frost, Curtis. Subs: Riley, Lucas, Mackie, Ellam, Wright.
