Penistone Church face the biggest game in their history tomorrow when they head to Grimsby Borough for the play-off final.

Church have already enjoyed their greatest ever season by reaching the final along with the League Cup final, but winning promotion to the Premier Division would be an unbelievable achievement for Church and their talented young manager Ian Richards.

Neither team can be written off. Grimsby looked dead and buried in the semi-final with Hallam having trailed 2-0 at the break before mounting a comeback to win it.

Church won 3-1 at people’s favourites AFC Emley thanks to a stunning display which has earned universal acclaim.
