Razor-sharp Sam Cable has committed himself to Selby Town.

Cable returned to his local side at the turn of the year to aid the expunged promotion push and he has now pledged to help Selby right the wrongs of the past few months.

The exciting attacker was a member of Christian Fox’s squad in the first year of Selby manager’s reign. His form was so good at the end of the 2017/18 season and start of the following campaign that Frickley Athletic snapped him up in November 2018.

His most memorable moment in a Selby shirt is when his spectacular first half header placed the Robins ahead in the 2018 FA Cup replay with Kendal Town which was attended by 500 people.
