Bradford (Park Avenue) have sacked player/manager Garry Thompson following the club’s disastrous opening two games in the National North. Avenue began the new campaign with a 5-0 thrashing at Curzon Ashton, followed by the defeat by the same score-line at home to local neighbours Guiseley on Tuesday night.
