Manager-less Guiseley are now six league games without a point after suffering a home defeat at home to Bromley.

This loss was the first for caretaker boss Adan Lockwood, who was joined in the dugout by Richie Wellens, the former Blackpool midfielder.

It was the home side who started brightly Jordan Preston made effective runs for the home side and produced two efforts that were both blocked, the away side though created the first significant chance when Dan Johnson was found in the area from a corner and his header hit the post and after a goal mouth scramble it was cleared.

In added time in the first-half George Porter saw his downward header towards the bottom left hand corner, turned away by Guiseley keeper Dan Atkinson who somehow clawed it away.

Half-time saw a heavy downpour that continued into the second half which led to the surface becoming very quick.

Blair Turgott was able to take advantage of this and produced a quick run, he cut inside and fired his effort into the top corner.

Moments later George Porter did not give up on a loose ball and was brought down on the corner of the area by Dan Atkinson who was booked, Louis Dennis powered the penalty in.

It then should have been three when Alfie Pavey fired a low drive against the post and it went out of play, but Max Porter was then placed through in on goal and placed the effort in.

Guiseley late on hit the post twice through Ash Palmer and Adam Boyes, Adam Smith got one back but Bradley Goldberg scored in added time and it meant the bottom side still have no points to their name.
