Former Shaw Lane defender Rhys Meynell has left Frickley Athletic after failing to agree terms
Rhys Meynell has left Frickley Athletic after failing to agree terms on a deal.
The vastly-experienced centre-back joined Frickley at the beginning of pre-season after leaving Shaw Lane AFC.
He has been playing in their friendlies, but his appearance in the 2-2 draw at Ossett Town on Tuesday night will be his last in a Frickley jersey.
Prior to the departure of Meynell, Frickley manager Karl Rose said he was hoping to sign two further new players before the season begins on August 13th.
