Worsbrough Bridge manager Dave Mace has begun putting his squad together for the Toolstation NCEL Division One season.
Bridge, who performed so well under Chris Hilton last season, are hoping to improve on last year’s tenth-placed finish.
Former Wakefield defender Craig Laight has returned after a year out of the game, while Danny Cawley has agreed to stay at Bridge.
Also staying are goalkeeper Jared Oxley and midfielder Andy Broadbent, who Worsbrough claim have turned down offers from higher ranked clubs.
The remaining three who have put pen to paper are Mark Kokot (previously Burgess Hill and Hallam), Rob Adgie (Sheffield United) and Connor Warren (Hallam).
Worsbrough begin their pre-season games on Saturday with a visit to Division One champions Cleethorpes Town.
