Francis is new joint Brighouse assistant

Former Burnley and Emley striker John Francis (pictured) has joined Brighouse as joint assistant manager

John Francis is back in the game after becoming the new joint assistant manager of Brighouse Town.

The former Burnley striker, who played for Emley at Wembley in the 1980s, recently left Albion Sports after a stint as their manager.

Francis was previously the 19s and 21s boss at Ossett Town and one of former first team manager John Reed’s close lieutenants. He also boasts strong experience from coaching in academies such as Leeds United’s.

Francis will work under Vill Powell at Brighouse.
