Two new faces featured for Frickley Athletic in the narrow 1-0 defeat to Worksop Town.
Midfielder James Matthews started the fixture while former Mansfield Town youngster Arun Jones came on as a second half substitute.
Young Matthews has come from Carlton Town – and has also been on Mansfield’s books.
Jones has played three times for Barton Town this season.
Dave Frecklington’s side’s woes continued though despite a hard-working performance against promotion-chasing Worksop.
With Pickering Town and Sheffield FC winning, the relegation battle Frecklington recently his side were in is now a firm reality.
The main concern for the Blues is their lack of goals.
They have only scored 15 times in the league this season but Frecklington is hopeful of addressing the issue this week as he hopes to add some new faces.
