Harrogate Railway veteran Colin Hunter

Name: Colin Hunter
Age: 37
Current Club: Harrogate Railway
Previous Clubs: Harrogate Railway, Guiseley, Hednesford Town, Gainsborough Trinity, Morecambe, Harrogate Town, Ilkeston Town, North Ferriby, Buxton.
Best mate in football: David Prutton
Career Highlight: Scoring a sweet volley in the First Round of the FA Cup against Farnborough and then watching it after on Match of the Day.
Lowest Moment in football: A knee injury at Guiseley that kept me out of most of the season.
Most Memorable game and goal: Apart from the FA Cup goal, scoring the best goal of my career by miles at Kings Lynn. It was a 30-yarder which flew into the top corner, only for it not exist as King’s Lynn were thrown out of the league!
What do you hope to achieve in your future football career?: This is my last season so coaching looks like the way forward.
Funniest moment: A certain nameless left-back at Guiseley punching a fan as he was taking a throw-in! I’m not promoting violence, but it was hilarious and the fan even bought our player a drink after the game.
