Paul Lines’ Wakefield FC boosted their Evo Stik Division One North survival hopes with a superb 2-0 win over Salford City at Belle Vue.
Top goal-scorer Rob Bordman got both goals to move them seven points clear of bottom-placed Ossett Albion and one behind Radcliffe Borough.
Harrogate Railway lost 1-0 at Northwich Victoria.
Ashley Allanson’s second half goal secured Bridlington Town a 1-0 win over Beverley Town and secured them a place in the East Riding Senior Cup final.
Bridlington will play North Ferriby United in the final.
Glasshoughton Welfare were heading to a 1-0 Toolstation NCEL Premier Division win at the expense of Staveley Miners Welfare until floodlight failure with 17 minutes to go.
Alex Booth was the scorer for Welfare.
