Glasshoughton Welfare have officially began the search for their next permanent manager.
Reserve team manager Jon Miles has held the fort since Rob Hunter resigned straight after the 2-0 defeat to Parkgate at the beginning of March.
Miles took charge of 12 games and won four of them, but lost six and drew two.
Brilliant wins at Tadcaster and Retford put him and his assistant Mark Kellett in the driving seat, but an embarrassing draw at Lincoln Moorlands Railway and a poor final day defeat to already relegated Winterton Rangers will have hindered their chances.
Whoever is appointed will be Welfare’s fourth manager in as many years.
Glasshoughton received a few applications before the post was even advertised and those interested for asked to contact the club’s chairman Phil Riding by email at philriding@hotmail.com.
Applications must be received by Monday 12th May, 2014.
