Toolstation NCEL Division One side AFC Emley have a new president.
Nigel Wakefield was voted in as the replacement for Ian Stevenson at last week’s AGM.
Stevenson stepped into the breach after last year’s well-publicised crisis.
Terry Higgins, Ian Steele and Andrew Painten remain as chairman, treasurer and secretary.
Club members will also told about ‘free tickets for schools’ – a scheme that the club are running during the new season.
Emley, who officially lost Wakefield FC as their tenants last week, still face a financial challenge.
The recent appeal for sponsors was fairly successful, but the club are still searching for a new main sponsor.
Emley also appealed for match day volunteers to cover the bar and tea hut.
