Maltby Main and Dronfield Town face an FA investigation after their FA Vase second qualifying round replay was abandoned with just three minutes remaining.
The Sheffield Star reports that when Maltby were leading 3-1, violence erupted.
Dronfield player William Earl was taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg.
Dronfield’s Carlton Dickson and Maltby’s Rob Branagan were sent off before referee Aaron Bannister chose to call a halt to proceedings.
