New Harrogate Railway manager Lee Ashforth will begin rebuilding his team with an open trial day next month.

Ashforth replaced Billy Miller, who was named as Tadcaster’s new manager, last week and inherits a squad that has lost some of its key members.

Nathan Cartman left in January, while Rob Youhill, Matt Heath and Malachi Farquharson are three players that have left in recent weeks.

At least two more are expected to leave for Tadcaster.

Ashforth and assistants Simon Wood and Steve Grime will assess potential new players on Thursday 4th June at 6.30pm at Station View.

Those interested in testing themselves at Evo Stik Division One North level are asked to send CV to manager@therailfc.com.
