Glasshoughton Welfare are once again helping to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

The fundraising efforts are being co-ordinated by former first team physio Sam Crawford, whose school friend Claire Armitage, 25, passed away a few years ago, and current player Liam Kellett.

Glasshoughton are staging a match between Airedale Legends and Britannia Legends at Leeds Road on Saturday at 11.30am.

The organisers also have a silent auction with prizes such as a week in a luxury villa in Andalucia up for grabs alongside signed shirts and balls from various football and Rugby League teams.

Entry for the match is £3 for adults, kids go free.

It is hoped over £1000 can be raised for the charity. Eighteen months ago, Glasshoughton helped raise over £2000 with a charity match and leg waxing.
