Hall Road Rangers have successfully passed their ground grading inspection after months of hard work to get their new home Haworth Park up to standard.

Hall Road had a big job on their hands when they announced they were leaving Dene Park, but chairman Darren Sunley and his volunteers have achieved their aims.

The floodlights are due to be in place for the end of September.

Mr Sunley said: “The hard work and dedication put in by our volunteers and staff has been nothing short of momentous.

“Since our move to Haworth the effort by our volunteers, sponsors and committee has been spectacular.
“We have managed to transform the site at Haworth park into a proper football ground, and the improvements will not stop here.

“We have flood lights to erect in the near future and further enhancements to the ground to make.”
