Stocksbridge Park Steels stormed to their biggest Evo Stik Division One South win of the season by putting five past Loughborough Dynamo without reply.
Chris Hilton had urged his side to take the performance from the surprise win at Northwich into the visit of Loughborough at Bracken Moor to end their five match winless run in the league.
And Steels did so in ruthless fashion.
The Steels, who had Richard Patterson back from suspension, didn’t mess about either in setting their stall out.
By the 19th minute, midfielders Harrison Biggins and Adam Hinchliffe had struck with low strikes.
Struggling Loughborough tightened up at the back so the Steels had to wait until midway through the second half to effectively seal the game.
Rory Coleman netted from the penalty spot and then later added his second.
In the closing stages, new striker Joe Lumsden, signed from Armthorpe, scored his second goal in two games to ensure it was high-fives all round.
