Harvey wins FC Halifax Town post

Jim Harvey has won the manager’s post at FC Halifax Town after a successful stint in temporary charge.

Harvey has kept struggling Halifax unbeaten during his five matches at the helm which began when Darren Kelly left.

The former Morecambe and Forest Green boss was Kelly’s assistant and he has signed a contract that will expire at the end of the season.

His permanent reign begins on Boxing Day when Halifax ahead to Lincoln City.

Halifax are six points adrift of safety in the National League.
