Former Guiseley chief Steve Kittrick is the new manager of Scarborough Athletic.

Kittrick was revealed as Paul Foot and Bryan Hughes’ replacements tonight (Tuesday) after a two week long search.

His first game in charge is the home Evo Stik Division One North clash with Bamber Bridge on Saturday.

Kittrick has been out of the game since leaving AFC Telford United earlier in the season.

The Barnsley-based boss built his reputation up at Ossett Town and then at Guiseley.

Under his management, Guiseley won the Evo Stik Premier Division title and finished in the Conference North play-offs zone three seasons running.

The Lions also won the West Riding County Cup in consecutive campaigns.
