Lee Morris is the new manager of Goole AFC
Shaw Lane Aquaforce assistant boss Lee Morris is the new manager of Goole.
He replaces Alan Semley, who was relieved of his duties on Sunday after the 1-1 draw with bottom-placed Tividale.
Caretaker boss Kev Graham will take charge of Saturday’s game with Chasetown, but Morris will be watching on from the side-lines.
The appointment is Morris’ first as a number one after a glittering playing career which spanned spells with Frickley Athletic, Harrogate Town, Buxton and North Ferriby, among others.
He leaves Shaw Lane after almost two years as Craig Elliott’s player/assistant. He will go down in Shaw Lane history as a key player in their Toolstation NCEL Premier Division triumph.
