Fernando Moke has gone back to his roots after signing for Yorkshire Amateur.

Before going onto play in the Evo Stik League, Moke was an Ammers player under Graham Hodder and then Paul Lines in the late 2000s.

Among the clubs he has played for since include Ossett Town, Shaw Lane Aquaforce, Bradford (Park Avenue), Droylsden, Wakefield FC, Scarborough Athletic and Garforth Town.

He is likely to be a big player for the Ammers, who want to secure their top ten place to ensure an FA Cup spot for next season. Although it would take a big effort, the Ammers are not out of the play-offs race either.

Moke hit the headlines earlier this season after scoring a wonder goal for Chapeltown Fforde Grene in the FA Sunday Cup. The Hull-based side that Chapeltown played contained a few Westella VIP players. Westella have to travel to Bracken Edge for the final game of the season in April.
