Curtis Woodhouse has resigned from his position as manager of Hull United.

Woodhouse announced his departure from the crisis-hit club on Twitter on Thursday afternoon.

His departure deepens Hull’s problems which began when they were kicked off Dene Park back in October.

A spell at Rugby League outfit Hull KR’s KC Lightstream Stadium followed, but since February the league have ordered them to play all their remaining home fixtures ‘away from’ home.

Hull have also yet to reveal where they will play next year. The deadline to tell the authorities is midnight tonight.
