Campion’s bid to reach the Toolstation Northern Counties East League has been successful.

The Bradford-based side’s rise from the West Riding County Amateur League was confirmed by the FA on Thursday night.

They join either Ollerton Town or Harworth Colliery Institute as the two totally new clubs in Division One next season.

Worsbrough Bridge’s reprieve has officially been confirmed. Worsbrough knew they were safe once as Hull United were finally kicked out after a shambolic series of events.

Campion, who play at Manningham Mills, have been steadily preparing for the jump by improving their facilities.
