Nicky Darker has been handed the captain’s armband at Maltby Main, who have made great strides towards preparing for next season.
Steve Hopewell has named as the club’s vice-captain. Joint boss Spencer Fearn said: “Both players were exceptional for us last season, they have great leadership qualities and we are really pleased they are taking on these roles”.
Maltby have also persuaded Parkgate defender Reece Wesley to re-join them.
Staying with the Main are Ryan Carroll, Lee Hill and young goalkeeper Danny Rusling.
Maltby are hoping to build their best season for nearly 20 years in August.
