Shaun Pendleton scored for Rossington
A late Shaun Pendleton penalty earned Rossington Main a 1-1 draw at home to Selby Town on the opening day.
Rossington had trailed to Chris Jackson’s fifth minute goal. The pressure had been mounting on Selby prior to the penalty as Rossington had hit the crossbar minutes earlier.
The spot kick was given after a handball.
Eccleshill United showed clinicalness in front of goal during their 3-1 victory at Teversal.
