An outstanding second half performance earned Harrogate Railway a place in the Preliminary Round along with the £1500 prize money.

Steve Bromley’s double and Chris Ovington’s late strike sealed Railway’s progress.

The Rail had Jake Lofthouse to thank during the the first half as he made several superb saves.

Lofthouse was rewarded when Bromley rose the the highest to head home Ryan Sharrock’s cross straight after the interval.

Bromley struck again late on by converting Harry Brown’s centre.

Ovington sealed the victory late-on after finishing off a quick counter-attack.
