Handsworth Parramore can reach the Emirates FA Cup second qualifying round for the first ever time, if they beat Squires Gate tomorrow.

Mick Godber is confident, not surprisingly after the 7-0 hammering of Harrogate Railway in midweek, but he insists that their opponents are the favourites.

“It is a big occasion for the club and it is a good game for us against someone at our level, but they’re at home,” Godber told Non League Yorkshire.

“Squires Gate will start as favourites. It is what I call a no pressure game.

“In our league, everybody wants to beat us whereas Squires Gate may have never heard of Handsworth so we go there with nothing to lose.

“But, put like this, if we play like we did at Harrogate Railway, it will take a good side to stop us.

“We’re going to Blackpool, but we’re not going for a jolly, we’re going there to win a game of football.”
